We’re excited to share the behind-the-scenes process of building our custom-made SIM83-TS01 truck simulator – developed by Sim 83 – Driving Simulators for training and evaluating professional truck and bus drivers. This one will be headed to India, when completed.
This is the first post in a short series that will document the simulator’s development from start to finish.
In the photo below, you can see the starting point: unpacking components sourced from suppliers across the globe. Each part is carefully organized and stored until it’s ready for installation. Currently, about half of all required parts are on the shelves. The final build will include roughly 100 unique components – some commonly available, others developed in-house and not found on the market.
Next up: assembling the main frame, which forms the backbone of the entire simulator.
